Athena Computer Power Corporation (ACPC) believes your success is our success. With this in mind, ACPC maintains a very straight forward company policy as outlined below. Privacy

At Athena Computer Power Corporation (ACPC), we are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell, trade or disclose your personal information to any third party however, following exceptions apply:

Vendor credit application: If you apply to open a credit account with us, your personal information will be used for credit verification purpose. We will manually process your application and transmit your personal data to credit bureau and the reference entities (such as your bank, trade references) you provided on your application. Additionally, certain of your personal information will be used for billing purpose if your credit account is approved.
Legal enforcement: In certain rare situations, we may disclose or report your personal information to authorities, in good faith, if it is ordered by law enforcement agencies.

Warranty

Athena Computer Power Corporation Products (ACPC label)

All of Athena Computer Power Corporation (ACPC) labelled products is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the warranty period as posted on www.athenapower.com (list below) from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.

OEM and ODM Products

All other OEM and ODM line of ACPC products are warranted against material and manufacturing defects for the warranty period as posted on www.athenapower.com(list below) from date of delivery.

Custom-Order Products (package)

All custom-order products delivered by ACPC are covered under a pass-through warranty. For example, if ACPC’s power supplies are used in the system then these power supplies will carry a warranty period as posted on www.athenapower.com (list below). All other system sub-components including but not limited to boards, DVDs, CD-ROMS, etc. are covered under their original manufacturer’s warranty.
Repair or replacement products will be warranted for a period of three (3) months from the date of shipment or for the remainder of the original warranty period for that particular product, whichever is longer.
Buyer agrees that if an ACPC product proves defective, ACPC is only obligated to repair, replace or credit the purchase price (credit not available to end-customers. End-customers must contact their vendors for credit issues) of this product at ACPC’s discretion. The warranty is void if the product has been subjected to alteration, neglect, misuse, or abuse; if any repairs have been attempted by anyone other than ACPC; or if failure is caused by accident, acts of God, or other causes beyond the control of ACPC. ACPC reserves the right to make changes or improvements in any product without incurring any obligation to similarly alter products previously purchased.

RMA Policy and Procedures - Vendors

Thank you for your purchase and support of Athena Computer Power products (ACPC). Please review our RMA policy and procedures so that we may resolve your issue promptly.

POLICY:

Return Credit: ACPC will not honor your credit request unless returned product is in its original packaging condition and request is made within 30 days from delivery date. There will be a 25% re-stocking charge of the original purchase amount if products returned is otherwise opened, used and/or damaged. No return credit on any returned items that were not purchased from ACPC.
Warranty Service: Warranty service is free of charge (excluding shipping and/or insurance charges) if request is received within warranty period. There will be a service charge of minimum $50 per unit for out-of-warranty repair. Please visit www.athenapower.com for complete warranty statement.

CROSS SHIPPING:

  1. If the customer has prepaid payment term, completed credit card authorization form is required. If RMA department does not receive the returned shipment within 15 days of the date replacement mailed by ACPC, customer’s creditcard will be charged. No credit memo or refund for the amount charged. No exceptions.
  2. For net term customers, if RMA department does not receive the returned shipment within 15 days of the date replacement mailed by ACPC, an invoice is issued for the charge. There is no credit memo, the amount charged is final and is to be paid by customer base on their net term.

PROCEDURES:

  1. Please complete and fax back RMA Request Form and copy of original invoice to request a return merchandise authorization number (RMA#). Your request is subject to our policy as stated above.
  2. Upon approval (processing time is typically 24 hours); you will receive a unique Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#). RMA# is valid for 15 days. If you are unable to return item within 15 days, please contact ACPC for a new RMA#.
  3. For out-of-warranty repair only, please make check or money order payable to: Athena Computer Power Corp.
  4. Securely pack the product in shipping box along with (a) a check (for out-of-warranty repair charge, if applicable), (b) a copy of RMA Request Form with your unique RMA# (serve as packing list), and (c) a copy of original purchase receipt (for warranty claim).
  5. Please write your RMA# on your shipping label. Ship item with freight and/or insurance charge prepaid to ACPC to the following address:

DISCLAIMER:

  1. ACPC is not responsible for service delays on any RMA returns received with incomplete/missing RMA Request Form or original purchase receipt/invoice.
  2. RMA service request will be denied if RMA product(s) received by ACPC is (a.) contrary to original request filed with ACPC, (b.) indeed was a compliance merchandise of its initial order, (c.) not an ACPC marketed product. ACPC is NOT obligated to return un-authorized RMA item(s). Customer is responsible for all freight charges and a $15 handling fee per bill of lading. The un-authorized RMA product(s) will be discarded if left unclaimed for 30 days after ACPC’s courtesy notice.
  3. ACPC reserves the right to either repair or replace RMA product that is under warranty free of charge to customer, shipping charge excluded. If the RMA product is discontinued, ACPC will replace with current product equivalent for warranty service purpose.
  4. Out-of-warranty repair will not be provided unless payment of service charge is received.
  5. Customer is responsible for RMA item to be securely packed prior to it being shipped back to ACPC. ACPC will not be held responsible for any RMA product that is either damaged or lost during shipment transit.
  6. ACPC’s liability, if any, is limited to the actual cash value of the RMA product. ACPC will not be responsible for any direct, indirect or consequential damages that may have caused during RMA services.
  7. ACPC reserves the right to modify this RMA policy and procedures at any time without prior notice.

RMA Policy and Procedures - Customers

Thank you for your purchase and support of Athena Computer Power products (ACPC). Please follow our RMA policy and procedures so that we may resolve your issue promptly.

POLICY:

Purchase Refund: please contact your vendor (store or reseller the product was originally purchased from) for purchase refund, in accordance to the reseller's refund policy. ACPC does not issue refunds directly to end-customers.

CROSS SHIPPING:

If your product is still under warranty and needs an immediate replacement, you may be eligible for the replacement product to be cross shipped (replacement is shipped to the customer before customer's return product is received by ACPC).

Proceedure:

  1. To request the replacement product to be cross shipped, a major credit card (Visa/MasterCard) from the customer is required. The customer will be provided a credit card authorization form by ACPC’s service department, which will list the retail value of the product to be replaced under “Total Amount.” By signing the credit card authorization form, the customer agrees to allow the total amount to be charged by ACPC as a security deposit for the replacement to be cross shipped.
  2. The customer will be responsible for shipping the return product prepaid to ACPC. All shipping fees are non-reimbursable.
  3. Once the deposit for the replacement has been charged, a new replacement will be shipped to the customer by UPS Ground and order tracking will be provided. Customer will be charged any price differences for express shipping (next day air, 2nd day air, 3 day) if specified.
  4. For Cross shipment the returned shipment must be received within 15 days, beginning from the the date the replacement is being shipped.
  5. Once the customer's return product is received by ACPC, the deposit amount will be charged back to the customer’s credit card account within 48 hours.

  7. ACPC reserves the right to modify this RMA policy and procedure at anytime without prior notice.
