Dual Fan

With its dual fan features located at the front and back of the power supply, the rear fan intakes the heat that is produced inside the server or system and pushes it through the front fan.  The design allows the power supply to be able to take 100% of the heat that is generated by the interior system and pushes it out of the server/system.  While some other PSU fans work differently, this dual fan design is targeted to maintain a reliable source of power and keeping the system cool.  Some may second guess this dual fan feature because it will increase noise volumes, but with its thermal fan speed controller it will detect the amount of heat generated by the server/system and spin accordingly.

Smart Auto Fan Speed Controller

Athena Power’s AP-U3ATX75FEP8 thermal fan speed controller will detect the amount of heat generated by the server/system.  Using this controller to detect the heat levels, it will automaticaqlly adjust the fan speed to maintain an optimum temperature and the need to worry about the heat levels, of a PSU, becomes almost non-existent.
