Athena Power BP-SAC1425AVL12 is a mini-SAS HD 12Gb/s HDD hot-swap backplane module can be installed in a 5.25" external drive bay converting to four 2.5" SAS/SATA hard drives for optimizing the system data capacity and performance.

• BP-SAC1425AVL12 can install four 2.5" SAS/SATA interface (up to 12Gb/s transfer rate; 15mm height) SSD/HDD.
• The backplane data transfer rate is up to 12Gb/s and features one mini-SAS HD (SFF-8643) internal connector for connecting with a compatible controller. 
• One SATA 15-Pin power connector to connect with a power supply unit for powering on device.
• Two 3-Pin fan connectors for powering cooling fan and detecting cooling fan status.
• Two 4cm fans are pre-installed at cage rear for device thermal solution.
• LED Indicators: Each HDD carrier has a multi-color LED indicator.
  • Solid Blue: HDD is in position and powered on;
  • Flashing Purple: HDD access;
  • Quick Flashing Red: Overheat;
  • Slow Flashing Red: Fan failure.
• HDD Caddy Features:
  • Each of HDD caddy supports a 2.5" HDD/SSD up to 15mm height (Enterprise grade);
  • High quality aluminum HDD tray with functional plastic front bezel;
  • HDD caddy front bezel functions: anti-vibration, EMI grounding (up to 5kV), LED indicating optical lightpipe and ventilation holes;
  • Each of HDD caddy has 2-segment metal key lock for providing extra  protection and security;
