The Athena Power BP-G5CNVME22525 is a high-performance slim backplane designed for 2 x 2.5" U.2/U.3 NVMe SSDs in industrial and workstation systems. It features a half 5.25" drive bay form factor with a metal enclosure and stainless steel carriers, providing secure and reliable operation. The integrated keylock with two keys ensures SSD security, and each drive tray includes vibration-reducing springs for stable performance.

This backplane delivers high-speed PCIe Gen5 connectivity with internal 2 x SFF-8639 inputs and 1 x MCIO 8i output, achieving transfer rates up to 128 Gbps. A 4020 cooling fan (7000 rpm) provides efficient thermal management, keeping SSDs stable under heavy workloads.

The BP-G5CNVME22525 supports hot-swappable and plug-and-play operation (depending on mainboard or control card), allowing flexible deployment. It also supports RAID 0/1/5/10, depending on your RAID controller. Optional M2U04 adapters enable the use of M.2 NVMe SSDs, offering additional versatility.
