Athena Power MR-SAC101TAL is 5.25” HDD module is compatible with SATA and SAS interfaces with up to 6Gbps transfer rate. It fits to store 3.5” HDD that support up to 4TB. Also, the hot swappable capability sustains the survival of internal components from live insertion and removal. The temperature of internal storage units is maintained by the cage’s aluminum body. For a better cooling performance, there is an optional 40mm fan which creates better airflow to the storage units. In addition, the LED hard drive activity light continuously displays the status of hard drives. For security purposes, the module is completed by a metal key lock to secure the contained hard drives from any unauthorized access.

Aluminum Body

Aluminum is known as a very durable material and easy to maintain. Aside from being lighter weight compares to other materials for HDD module, it also disperses the heat. Hence, it aids in preventing each hard drive from overheating.

Cooling Fan

In order to improve operating temperatures, an optional 1x40mm cooling fan creates  airflow through the module.

Metal Key Lock

A metal key lock  located on the front part of the enclosure increases the security   for each hard drive by preventing any unauthorized access.
