Athena Computer Power Corp. Launches New 1U Rackmount (RM-1U100D)

Athena Computer Power Corp. ® today announced the RM-1U100D short depth rackmount, this rackmount has a reduced depth body, hot swap capabilities; up to 4x 2.5” HDD, the first 1U rackmount with a front bezel filter, and 2x built in front and 2x rear fans.  Because of its large 5.25” Open bay many system engineers can now explore different options for their system needs.

The RM-1U100D is the first 1U rackmount that has reduced depth size and features a new front bezel filter that helps protect against dirt and other harmful substances from reaching sensitive hardware.  The front bezel filter can be removed and is washable for easy maintenance.  The front panel is made out of solid aluminum and the body is 1.2 mm steel which creates a sturdy protective body reducing cause of external damage. 

The RM-1U100D supports the mini-ITX form factor (6.7”x6.7”) motherboards and uses the FlexATX form factor power supply.  The RM-1U100D also supports the Hot-Swap function, with its 5.25” open front bay it allows system engineers to incorporate a 5.25” backplane; by integrating a backplane users can add up to a maximum of 4x 2.5” HDD.

Measured at 19”x1.75”x9.84” (WxHxD) the RM-1U100D has 2x front 2.0 USB ports and a front power and HDD LED indicator.  In its interior are 2x front intake fans and 2x rear exhaust fans, these fans will help maintain your systems interior temperature, protecting it from overheating and malfunctioning problems due to heat.
